The 2023 Agricultural Sales – Placement proficiency winner is Emmalyn Brandvig of the Tomah FFA. This proficiency is sponsored by Direct Enterprises, Inc.

For the last three years, Emmalyn has been employed at Ace Hardware. In the beginning, Emmalyn would work the cash registers and on different sales floors of the store. Over time, Emmalyn’s knowledge has increased, along with her responsibilities. Now, Emmalyn’s major roles include working in the green house, receiving in product, and resetting the store. 

Emmalyn loves that her job allows her to both impact her community and expand her knowledge in agriculture.

Brandvig will find out this summer if she is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Emmalyn will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in November.
