Hannah Dahl of the Columbus FFA is a Wisconsin Star in Agricultural Placement finalist.

The Star in Agricultural Placement award is given to students that are working in a variety of job opportunities in the agricultural industry.

Hannah started working at the Sassy Cow Creamery, as a store worker, the summer before her sophomore year of high school. In the beginning, Hannah’s responsibilities started out simple with tasks such as cleaning, stocking the store, and scooping ice cream. However as time went by, and the store and business expanded, so did Hannah’s responsibilities, especially when she was promoted to a shift leader and social media coordinator. On top of that, this past year, Hannah was trained by the master ice cream maker at Sassy Cow Creamery to assist in the process of making the ice cream. 

Hannah has recently completed her first year at Notre Dame majoring in Economics and Constitutional Studies. After college graduation, Hannah hopes to pursue a career in agricultural policy and work with small agri-businesses.

Hannah’s parents are Taylor and Sarah Dahl. Her advisor is Ms. Glenda Cook.
