The Dodgeland FFA Chapter was named the state winning Marketing Plan Career Development Event Team. Team members include Brendan Rushing, Travis Justmann, and Landon Roy. Their advisor is Lucas VanEgtern. 

Marketing Plan Career Development Event participants work with agricultural businesses that serve their community to develop a marketing plan which includes steps to market a product or service, create a written proposal, set up strategies, project a budget, evaluate progress, and then present their findings to judges.

Dodgeland will now represent Wisconsin FFA in competition at the National FFA Career Development Events to be held in October in Indianapolis, Indiana during the 95th National FFA Convention. The Marketing Plan CDE is sponsored on the state level by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation Annual Fund. The National sponsors are Country Meats, Bayer, Nutrien Ag Solutions and Context.

This CDE allows students to explore and prepare for possible careers in agrimarketing and develop partnerships within agriculture, their local FFA chapters and with the community. All Career Development Events engage students in developing their communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills to promote future career success.
