MADISON, Wis. (May 22, 2023) – The Fennimore FFA Chapter was named the state winning FFA Land Evaluation Career Development Event Team. Team members include Tyson Gehrke, Wesley Winch, Abby Adrian and Noah Foreyt. Their advisor is Shelby Mitchell. Additionally, the top individual for this event was Tyson Gehrke.

One of the event’s greatest values is its ability to develop decision-making skills while increasing student exposure to specialists in the industry. Students become acquainted with market and industry trends because the contest is kept current with industry standards.

The State Land Evaluation CDE was held last fall by the Southwest Technical College.

4^th Monticello, Advisor: Ryan Indergand

5^th River Ridge, Advisor: Madeline Esser

These top five teams represented the Wisconsin Association of FFA as they competed at a national contest in Oklahoma this past spring.
