MADISON, Wis. – The Green Bay Preble FFA Chapter was named the state winning Nursery/Landscape Career Development Event Team. Team members include Haley Ellenbecker, Libbie Pelishek, Riley Stieglitz and Bu Paw. Their advisors are Brooke Brouillard, Clayton Vader, Sarah Valentine and Gail Holdt. Additionally, the top individual was Haley Ellenbecker. 

The Nursery/Landscape CDE tests students’ skills related to horticultural principles through plant identification of specimens by both their technical and common names, a multiple-choice test and hands-on activities which include landscape drawing, interpersonal relations and nursery operation practices.

Green Bay Preble will now represent Wisconsin FFA in competition at the National FFA Career Development Events to be held in October in Indianapolis, Indiana during the 95th National FFA Convention. The Nursery/Landscape CDE is sponsored on the state level by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation Annual Fund. The National sponsors are Kubota and Haviland Plastic Products .
