The 2023 Agricultural Services proficiency winner is Jacob Harbaugh of the Clintonville FFA. This proficiency is sponsored by Dairyland Seed Co., Inc.

Jacob owns and operates Harbaugh Hair Care, a business that specializes in the grooming and fitting of dairy cattle. Throughout the year, Jacob fits for cattle sales, fairs, shows and barn clippings. Jacob has skills in blending toplines and belly hairs, as well as utilizing techniques that help the animal appear to be more desirable in breed characteristics, thus making Jacob a valuable asset to his clients. Jacob now has 25 clients in which he provides his services to.

Harbaugh will find out this summer if he is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Jacob will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in November.
