The 2022 Agricultural Communications Proficiency Winner is Amy Jentges of the Random Lake FFA. The Agricultural Communications Proficiency is sponsored by Filament.

Amy’s SAE began a few years ago when she found her passion for agricultural advocacy. She brought her advocacy efforts to life in many ways, including assembling FFA social media publications, creating ag-focused social media content, and working with Ozaukee 4-H social media to promote opportunities for local youth. Through her SAE, she has learned how to use different software to develop digital content, how to properly write news publications, and has networked with many professionals in the communications industry.

Amy’s advisor is Whitney Rathke.

Jentges will find out this summer if she is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Amy will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in October.
