Korth Wins Wisconsin FFA Diversified Crop Production – Placement Award

June 14, 2022 Proficiency

The 2022 Winner in Diversified Crop Production – Placement  is Lora Korth of the New London FFA. The Diversified Crop Production – Placement Proficiency is sponsored by the Collegiate FFA, UW-Madison.

Lora works on her dad’s farm where she helps with the production of 900 acres of forages including alfalfa, corn, and soybeans depending on soil condition. Here, her main responsibilities include chopping, hauling wagons, and unloading for storage. Additionally, she assists with her uncle’s grain production farm where she plays an essential role in planting, tilling, and a variety of different responsibilities during harvest season.

Lora’s advisor is Crystal Retzlaff

We would like to recognize the state finalists in Diversified Crop Production:

Second: Isaac Meylor, Darlington

Third: Isabella Kraus, Beaver Dam

Korth will find out this summer if she is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Lora will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in October.
