The 2022 Agricultural Sales – Entrepreneurship Proficiency Winner is Allison Loosen of the Slinger FFA. The Agricultural Sales – Entrepreneurship Proficiency is sponsored by Wyffels Hybrids. 

In 2020, Allison officially started renting a plot of land to grow pumpkins and opened her first roadside stand later that fall. She began working with local greenhouses and local producers to purchase more pumpkins, mums, and gourds to maintain a consistent inventory at her stand. With an interest in her business from her community, Allison planned a “Fun Day at the Farm” event which offered wagon rides, arts and crafts and more for the public to enjoy.

Loosen will find out this summer if she selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Allison will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in October.
