Lulich Wins Wisconsin FFA Landscape Management Proficiency

June 16, 2023 Proficiency

The 2023 Winner in Landscape Management is Ethan Lulich of the Mauston FFA. The Landscape Management Proficiency is sponsored by the Wisconsin FFA Convention Partners

When Ethan first started working for Lulich Landscaping LLC at 14 years old, he would assist with hauling needed materials, such as plants and block pavers to the installation crew members. Over time, Ethan’s responsibilities increased with him operating the skid steer, mini-excavator, and soil preparator. On job sites, Ethan takes great care in plant installation, sod laying, irrigation system installation, and pavers and wall installation. In the winter, Ethan oversees the eight winter grounds keeping accounts that the company has in New Lisbon.

Ethan’s advisor is Beth Babcock.

We would like to recognize the state finalists in Landscape Management:

Second: Kevin Schnell, Mauston

Third: Kaden Wagner, Wisconsin Heights

Fourth: Colton Alsum, Randolph Cambria – Friesland

Fifth: Luke Andrews, Seymour

Lulich will find out this summer if he is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Ethan will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in November.
