The New London was named the winner of the state FFA Agricultural Issues Contest at the 94^th Wisconsin FFA Convention in Madison, Wisconsin. Members of the New London Agricultural Issues team were Carolynn Backes, Hanna Gorman, Jake Flocker, Evan Retzlaff and Heidi Weyland. The advisor of New London is Crystal Retzlaff.

The teams were asked to select and research an agricultural topic and develop a presentation to explain and provide alternatives to the issue.

New London will represent Wisconsin at the 96th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana this November. The national winner will be selected from a group of state finalists and will receive a plaque and additional scholarship money. The Agricultural Issues Contest is sponsored by the Wisconsin FFA Convention Partners. Elanco Animal Health, Syngenta and the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association are the National Sponsors.
