Schueller Wins Wisconsin FFA Equine Science – Entrepreneurship Proficiency

June 16, 2023 Proficiency

The 2023 Winner in Equine Science – Entrepreneurship is Natalie Schueller of the Chippewa Falls FFA. This proficiency is sponsored by Marshfield FFA Alumni.

Natalie uses her three horses, which she has been training from a young age, to provide riding lessons to those in the community. In recent years, Natalie has expanded her business to training other people’s horses too. Additionally, Natalie wants to share her love for horses, so she presents clinics to members of the Chippewa County 4-H program on different aspects of showing such as driving, jumping, and horsemanship.

Natalie’s advisors are Jeanna Burgan and Caitlin Foster.

We would like to recognize the state finalists in Equine Science – Entrepreneurship Proficiency :

Second: Lindsey Montgomery, Waupaca

Third: Skylar Hahn, Weyauwega-Fremont

Fourth: Brooke Casey, New London

Fifth: Melanie Krumenauer, Chippewa Falls

Schueller will find out this summer if she is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Natalie will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in November.
