Dillian Schwochert of the Montello FFA is a Wisconsin Star Farmer finalist.

The Star Farmer Award recognizes students in production agriculture working with entrepreneurship programs, ranging from animals to crops.

Dillian raises animals and produce as part of his SAE. Dillian has grown his operation to own over 50 rabbits, 100 chickens, three market steers, and two market goats. Dillian saw the need for a breeding goat herd in his area, because people had to drive hours to purchase goats since there were none in his area. In the summer of 2018, started up his breeding goat herd. In addition, Dillian owns several non-traditional animals, like doves, geese, and guinea pigs, while also running a one acre garden plot. 

He plans to attend Fox Valley Technical College for Animal Science. 

Dillian’s parents are Kurt and Heather Schwochert. His advisor is Ms. Hannah Wolsdorf.
