Hopke Elected To Serve Wisconsin Association of FFA

June 15, 2022 State Officer

Isaac Hopke from the Spooner FFA Chapter was elected to a year of service as the 2022-2023 Section One State FFA Officer during the 93rd Wisconsin FFA Convention. His advisor is Susan Olson-Rosenbush. His parents are Pete and Danette Hopke.

Hopke plans to attend the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities to major in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Spanish. With his degree he hopes to develop agriculture practices within the aerospace industry and make a global impact on food security and safety. After college, he would like to return back to his home farm and take over and expand the family business.

When Isaac isn’t studying for school or working on the family farm, he is busy with running his landscape management business. He participates in his chapter’s local activities, such as Safety Day, highway cleanups, and the annual fruit and nut sales. He also is part of the Tri-County Land Judging team as well as an active participant in the LDE contests, prepared speaking and creed speaking.

“Two of the things that have held most true to me have been my advocacy for agriculture and FFA and also assisting others based on my own knowledge and experiences. These two things are the greatest reasons why I desire to serve as a state officer for the Wisconsin Association of FFA.” He knows how FFA can change someone and hopes to connect with members throughout the next year to make an impact.
