Brusveen Wins Middle School Essay Contest

June 13, 2023 Other Awards

Briella Brusveen of the Randolph Cambria-Friesland FFA Chapter is the state winner of the Middle School “Elevate” Essay Contest for the 94th State FFA Convention. Briella’s advisors are Lauren Freel and Keith Gundlach.

The Middle School Essay objective is to promote proficiency in writing and communication skills for FFA members eighth grade and under. These students submit an entry to the essay contest from a local level, after which, five are chosen to be submitted to the state level from each chapter. The essays are then judged and the top four finalists, as well as section winners, will be presented with a plaque. Participants in this essay contest gain a deeper understanding of the FFA organization and its attributes through a designated theme, with this year’s theme being “Elevate.”  This theme is decided upon by the Wisconsin 2022-2023 State officer team.
