Bunnell Elected To Serve Wisconsin Association of FFA

June 15, 2023 State Officer

Amber Bunnell of the Seymour FFA Chapter was elected to a year of service as the 2023-2024 Section Eight State FFA Officer during the 94th Wisconsin FFA Convention. Her advisor is Aaron Kilsdonk. Amber’s parents are Brad and Brenda Bunnell.

Bunnell is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin—River Falls, studying agricultural education with the hope of teaching agriculture and advising FFA upon graduation. Amber is passionate about educating the next generation on the importance of agriculture while providing opportunities for hands-on learning and individual growth through FFA and supervised agricultural experiences.

An incredibly active FFA member, Bunnell participated in a wide variety of leadership conferences, service events, leadership & career development events, and committees and continued this involvement at the collegiate level. Amber is a member of the UWRF Agricultural Education Society, Dairy Club, Farm Bureau, and Association of Women in Agriculture while also helping to put on career development events the university hosts.

“Having the opportunity to be involved in the FFA organization has changed my life forever,” says Bunnell, crediting the organization with helping her navigate personal challenges while becoming a stronger person and leader. She hopes to do the same for FFA members across the state by listening and helping them connect with events to focus their passions on.
