Courtney Glenna of the Amery FFA is a Wisconsin Star in Agricultural Placement finalist.

Courtney has worked on her family’s 120 cow dairy farm since she was 10 years old. In the beginning, Courtney completed simple tasks on the farm like cleaning barns, milking cows, and feeding heifers. Since then, Courtney’s responsibilities have increased, where she now assists in delivering calves, treating sickness, managing Ovsynch and CIDR protocols, helping with field work and much more. Courtney has developed an intense love for dairy and continues to strive to develop a total understanding of all aspects of the industry.

Courtney attends the University of Wisconsin – River Falls where she is studying Dairy Science. After college, Courtney plans to remain active in the dairy industry by having her own herd and working as a dairy geneticist.  

Courtney’s parents are Charlotte and Randy Glenna. Her advisor is Derrick Meyer.
