Goplin Elected To Serve Wisconsin Association of FFA

June 15, 2022 State Officer

Kendra Goplin of the Whitehall FFA Chapter was elected to a year of service as the 2022-2023 Section Three State FFA Officer during the 93rd Wisconsin FFA Convention. Her advisor is Melinda Goplin. Kendra’s parents are Shane and Melinda Goplin.

Goplin is attending South Dakota State University pursuing a major in Agricultural Education. She wants to educate the public about the importance of agriculture to generate educated consumers. Kendra’s Supervised Agricultural Experience has been creating and teaching an Agriculture Literacy Program. She has developed the curriculum for the Ag. Literacy Program and has created a Youtube channel to promote agriculture during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to working on the Agriculture Literacy Program, Kendra has organized a Fair Oaks Educational Trip, Nursing Home Community Projects, and has been a Fruit Sales Manager. Kendra has also participated in FFA events including the Discussion Meet, Employability Skills, and Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Events. She has served as chapter secretary, vice president, and president, as well as the Agriculture Literacy Coordinator.

“I believe the FFA Organization has a place for everyone.” Goplin says. She feels FFA offers an array of opportunities and activities for members to promote premiere leadership, personal growth, and career success. Kendra would like to motivate members to participate in the activities they are interested in.
