Gough Elected To Serve Wisconsin Association of FFA

June 15, 2022 State Officer

Rhylie Gough from the Albany FFA Chapter was elected to a year of service as the 2022-2023 Section Five State FFA Officer during the 93rd Wisconsin FFA Convention. Her advisor is Hala Ryan. Her parents are Matthew Gough and Deanne Walmer-Gough.

Gough plans to attend the University of Wisconsin River Falls to pursue Elementary Education or Agriculture Education. She plans on taking advantage of the State Officer Internship Program offered by UW-River Falls to ensure she can properly serve as a State Officer.

Rhylie currently works at Pleasant Prairie Greenhouse. She is tasked with transferring plugs, watering, checking inventory, planter arrangements, and other general maintenance at the self-serve greenhouse location.

Gough created a service project within her local chapter which continues to affect her community! After hearing about Trick or Treating for a cause she decided to bring it into her own chapter. They provided many nonperishable items for their local food drive. As years passed, “Trick or Treating for a Cause” has grown considerably in her community and she hopes it continues for years to come.

Rhylie believes that the “Wisconsin Association of FFA… inspire[s] members to succeed in FFA careers.” She hopes to help represent the organization by being “confident, professional, outgoing, kind, and inclusive above all.”
