Kesler Wins Wisconsin FFA Agricultural Mechanics Repair & Maintenance – Entrepreneurship Award

June 22, 2022 Proficiency

The 2022 Agricultural Mechanics Repair & Maintenance – Entrepreneurship proficiency winner is Matthew Kesler of the Oconto Falls FFA. The Agricultural Mechanics Repair & Maintenance – Entrepreneurship proficiency is sponsored by Case IH & CNH Industrial Capital.

Matthew always had a love for mechanics as he worked alongside his dad in repairing cars, trucks, skid steers, and much more. Matthew decided to take his SAE to the next level when he purchased an antique International 350 high utility tractor from a local farmer. Matthew loves to restore tractors because he is able to showcase the history of agriculture and the story that each tractor tells.

Matthew’s advisors are Walter Taylor and Mariah Markhardt.

Kesler will find out this summer if he is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Matthew will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., in October.
