Mueller Elected To Serve Wisconsin Association of FFA

June 15, 2023 State Officer

Linsey Mueller of the Albany FFA Chapter was elected to a year of service as the 2023-2024 Section Five State FFA Officer during the 94th Wisconsin FFA Convention. Her advisors are Haley Koehn and Hala Ryan. Linsey’s parents are Bonnie and Wayne Mueller.

A 2023 graduate, Mueller plans to attend the University of Wisconsin—Platteville to pursue a double major in environmental engineering and Spanish, as well as a minor in horticulture and credits her supervised agricultural experience project with preparing her for her future career. Through high school Linsey has worked at both a local greenhouse and garden, developing a wide array of experiences in nursery operation. Mueller’s SAE was also a factor in one of her greatest contributions to her local chapter, which is known for its annual plant sale.

In addition to serving as a chapter officer and committee chair, and participating at the sectional level in multiple leadership development events, Linsey was also an active member of her school and community participating in forensics, National Honor Society, the Future Business Leaders of America, cross country and track and field. She also served her local Big Brothers Big Sisters program, crediting that involvement with developing her ability to work with a wide array of age groups.

One of Mueller’s focuses for her year with the Wisconsin FFA is to use those skills to connect with other members and “work hard to make all members feel included”, adding that she hopes to “embody the people that inspired me in the first place” while they find their place in the organization.
