The Plymouth FFA Chapter was named the state winning Horse Evaluation Career Development Event Team. Team members include Danielle Conto, Hollee Kaiser, Cady Ninnemann and Lauren Wagner. Their advisors are Tracy Heinbuch and Katelynnn Sibley. Additionally, Ella Rand from the Loyal FFA was the top individual. Her advisor is Stephanie Donnebauer.

Students who participate in the Horse Evaluation Career Development Event gain new insights into equine science by evaluating and ranking horses based on breed characteristics, confirmation, and performance. Participants defend their decisions through oral reasons in front of a panel of judges. 

Plymouth will now represent Wisconsin FFA in competition at the National FFA Career Development Events to be held in November in Indianapolis, Indiana during the 96th National FFA Convention. The Horse Evaluation CDE is sponsored on the state level by the Wisconsin FFA Convention Partners. The National sponsor is Tractor Supply Co.

 All Career Development Events engage students in developing their communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills to promote future career success.
